The Stanhope ***** is located between the Royal Palace and the European Parliament, in walking distance to the historical Grand Place, the Grand and Petit Sablon with the antique shops and the fashionable Avenue Louise.

In 1991, The Stanhope ***** was inaugurated first 5 star hotel in Belgium. It is the assembly of 3 turn-of-the-century townhouses, entirely decorated in typical English Country Style. A peaceful haven in the heart of Brussels.

Each of the 50 guestrooms and suites are unique. All rooms are individually furnished with classical and antique style furniture, floral fabrics, master paintings and chinese blue-and-white vases. Certain rooms have their own business centre equipped with PC, cd-rom, fax, scanner and printer. Internet access in all rooms and fax machine on request.

All rooms have marble bathroom with golden taps and finest towels. Guests dispose about 3 telephones, Internet access, trouser press, minibar, cable and satellite TV, radio and individual air-conditioning.
Our deluxe rooms are spacious and have a cosy sitting area.

3 meeting rooms : The Balmoral, Wellington and Lancaster enjoy natural daylight and wooden floors in the living rooms. Maximum capacity 25 persons.

2 board rooms : The Spencer and Stuart are perfect for smaller meetings up to 16 people. They are also available when privacy is needed for lunches.

The Brighton Restaurant is adorned with a portrait of King George IV, the British monarch who transformed the Brighton Pavilion into a fairytale oriental palace at the beginning of the 19th century. Mr. Willy, our Maitre d'Hôtel will ensure you a warm welcoming and an excellent service.

The walls of the restaurant are embellished with frescos of figures in Chinese apparel; of which the hand painted originals are in the Banqueting Room of that same palace. Our French Chef Gérard Souillat creates the finest dishes, a Royal Banqueting Room worth!

When the weather allows, lunch and dinner can also be served in the interior garden, in the shadow of the old magnolia tree.
The Brighton is open from Monday to Friday, closed on weekends and bank holidays.

In the Caviar bar, open from Monday to Friday, from 18.00h, you can enjoy a nice old Whiskey, or sip on a delicious glass of Champagne.
Cosy corner, is the true word for the bar, sinking away in the mellow cushions.
